As if voters needed more names on the Cabarrus County Board of Education ballot. The school board race attracted 449 write-in votes despite being the ballot's most competitive race with 17 candidates.

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Boxers have long complained about being robbed in the ring. Well, now the ring itself has been stolen. The ring at Glass City Boxing was swiped sometime Sunday, WNWO-TV reported. Trainer Tom Urbina says if the ring is not returned the gym may have to cancel upcoming boxing shows.
